Traveling with someone who is not participating in the workshop? The cost per person is $1,653.00 for everything listed above with the exception of the course fee. In addition to the pool, beach and town of Pisciotta to explore, optional tours and cooking classes will be made available to traveling companions for an additional charge.
Here’s a sample of some of the optional excursions.
- Excursion to San Severino: Travel by private minibus to the village 21 km away. The legendary ghost village from the Middle Ages, built on steep cliffs, was of great importance in history due to its geographical and strategic position. (55 Euro PP)
- Excursion to Pioppi: Travel by private minibus to the village of Pioppi, 23 km away. Guided tour of the museum. (95 Euro PP)
- Excursion to Rodio: Travel by private minibus to the medieval village of Rodio, 8 km away, with its Palazzo Baronale, the most important historical building in the village. ( 70 Euro PP)
- Cooking seminar at private home. Your choice of preparing a traditional lunch or 2 desserts. (60 Euro PP)
- Professional cooking seminar and lunch at the Lamadè restaurant in Pisciotta: includes shopping in the market, preparation of 2 traditional main courses, olive oil tasting, wine sampling and a champagne toast. (80 Euro PP)

Please remember Pisciotta is a small town and will not be stocking art supplies. Michael with have a small supply of his own products for sale at the workshop including brushes and pallettes. The grocery in Pisciotta will have paper towels. There are no available chairs or easels for plein air location painting.
Pisciotta Italy Art Workshops - Course Enrollment Information
- To enroll in this workshop please complete the registration form on the next page and email it to artinpisciotta@gmail.com
- Once we’ve received your form we will email you the instructions for paying the deposit of $500.00 per person enrolled – both participant and non-participant.
- Participation fees are as follows. Please note, this does not include transportation costs to get to Pisciotta Italy.
- Option 1: Program, accommodations and workshop: $2,230.00. Single supplement $500.00 extra.
- Option 2: Program and accommodations. No workshop. $1,653.00
- Enrollment reservations are accepted in the order in which they are received. Upon receipt of your deposit, you are sent a supply list provided by your instructor, detailed travel information, and a confirmation/invoice.
If a participant does not have health insurance for abroad, health insurance limited to the travel period can be booked through the agency. Interested parties can obtain the necessary information directly from the agency.
Payments:
- Upon receipt of registration, the agency will send each participant a request for payment of the $500 deposit.
- The balance of $1730 for painting course participants and $1153 for accompanying persons should be paid by February 22, 2025.
- Registrations after February 22, 2025 must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Cancellation:
- Anyone who cancels their registration by February 21, 2025 at the latest will receive a refund of the deposit of $ 500 less a processing fee of $ 50.
- Anyone who cancels their registration after February 22, 2025 will receive a refund of the amount already paid minus $1500.
If a workshop is cancelled by us, a full refund of the deposit will be processed.
